Voting in Baram resumes

MIRI: Voting at 12 polling centres in the Baram parliamentary constituency for the 15th general election  (GE15) that was suspended due to adverse weather, resumed today (Nov 21).

The polling stations are SK Long Naah (7.30am-1pm), SK Long Luteng (7.30am-2pm), Rumah TK Matthew Belulok Lalo Kampung Lepoh Gah (7.30am-2pm), SK Long Sait(7.30am-1pm), SK Long Tungan (7.30am-1pm), SK Long Mekaba (7.30pm-12pm), SK Long Jekitan (7.30am-12pm), SK Long Moh (7.30am-1pm), SK Lomg Lamei (7.30am-12pm), SK Lio Mato (7.30am-12pm), SK Lomg Banga (7.30am-12pm) and Rumah TK John Jau Wan Long Semiang (7.30am-12pm).

About 6,000 voters have been registered to vote in these polling centres

Election Commission (EC) workers who were stranded in Marudi since last Thursday were deployed to their respective polling centres this morning.

Voting was suspended after poor weather hampered efforts to transport EC workers to the centres on Nov 19.
