KUCHING: Sarawak Patriots Association (SPA) will be organising a forum it calls ‘Referendum — its facts and legal implications’ from 6.30pm to 10pm on Sept 24 at the MBKS auditorium.
The forum will be chaired by Associate Professor Dr Ahi Sarok, a public administration expert from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas).
Speakers include Santubong MP Datuk Seri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, who has many years of parliamentary experience and is well-versed on the legality of a referendum.
Another speaker is Datuk David Teng Lung Chi, the Sarawak Culture Research Institute president. Teng will speak on referendum and its key components.
Other speakers include Dominique Ng Kim Ho, the Sarawak Association of Peoples’ Aspirations (Sapa) and Iswardy Morni of PKR and Abdul Aziz Isa of DAP.
