Water main extension costing over RM500k completed

MIRI: Extension work costing RM580,000 on the water main at Kampung Damai Jaya, Desa Senadin here has been completed.

According to Senadin incumbent assemblyman Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin, the three-month project was completed in August.

He made a visit to the village on Monday (Nov 8) to assess the work.

The project was fully funded by the Sarawak government, and the 2.1km water main extension would benefit 122 families.

Kampung Damai Jaya residents expressed their appreciation to Lee for helping them with not only water supply but also electricity, tar-sealed roads and partial concrete drains.

Lee thanked the Laku Management Sdn Bhd for its speedy effort in installing and extending the water main.

Joining Lee were acting Miri Resident Jamalie Busri, Laku Mnaagement Sdn Bhd chairman Datuk Nelson Balang Rining and CEO Daneil Punang.
