KUCHING: Laku Management Sdn Bhd has informed consumers in Miri that there will be disruptions of water supply on Wednesday (May 19) from 9 am to 5 pm.
The disruptions of water supply are due to the mains interconnection works near A Hong’s Grover along Jalan Luak Bay.
As a result, many areas will experience low pressure or total disruptions of water supply.
They include Mosajaya Commercial Centre, Pin Fook Garden, Kpg Lembah Hijau, Kpg Usan Hotel and surrounding shoplots, Siang Siang Garden, Friendship Garden, Taman Wah Shin, Tai Foo Garden, Golden Park, Golden Hill, Jalan Hills, Taman Bumiko, Tanjong Garden, Sunlight Garden, Jalan Mulu, Jalan Mukah, Lorong Julau, Jalan Tanjung, Jalan Bunga Tanjong, Jalan Woodhouse, Kolej Tunku Haji Bujan, Taman Interhill and Kpg Riam Jaya.
Areas that will experience no water supply are Taman Delight, Taman Wawasan, Sunshine Graden, Taman Luak Indah, Lite Garden, Kpg Luak, Taman Yong, Grace Garden, Taman Shangrilla, SM Sains Miri, Institut Pendidikan Guru Miri, Ocean Park, Holiday Park, Fabolous Garden, Strawberry Park, Taman Phoenix, Jalan Sim Kheng Hong, Jalan Lower Tukau, SMK Agama Miri, Kpg Tukau Jaya, Upper Tukau, Jalan Sg. Rait, PPR Sg. Rait, Kpg Sungai Rait, Kpg Raan, Kpg Nelayan, Kpg Bakam, Kpg Posil, Kpg Siwah and Supply to JBALB Kpg Beraya.
“Consumers are advised to store sufficient water supply for use during the disruption period.
“We regret any inconvenience caused and will strive to shorten the duration of the disruptions,” said Laku.
It added that the water supply would gradually resume after 5pm but consumers might experience low pressure as well as turbid water.
