
DALAT: The Waterfront Phase III project has been proposed at Kampung Sungai Kut Muara here to bridge the existing gap between the two completed earlier phases.
Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Childhood Development Minister Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah, said the project was approved by Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg previously
“Today, we are visiting the site of the proposed project,” she said when making a site visit at Kampung Sungai Kut Muara near here today (March 18). Fatimah also visited other ongoing projects in the village.
She said the proposed public toilet would also be included under Waterfront Phase III, as agreed by the Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID) and Dalat and Mukah District Council (MDDM).
Fatimah, who is also Dalat assemblywoman, added that the proposed waterfront is under Projek Rakyat (community project) with a length of 170 metres.
