KUCHING: Watsons Malaysia, a leading health and beauty retailer, is ushering in the lunar new year with its #HappyBeautifulYear 2023 campaign to create the perfect beautiful celebration revolving around the synergy of health and beauty.

The 2023 campaign entitled Watsons #HappyBeautifulYear 2023 is spearheaded by the Chinese New Year brand film with the key message of promoting love and compassion for lasting moments with families, friends and loved ones.

“This year, with the new year full of hope, Watsons, the No. 1 health, and beauty retailer, wants to create a spirit of togetherness and hopes to impact positive values along the way,” said Watsons Malaysia managing director Caryn Loh in a press statement.

“After a two-year period of struggles, hardship, and uncertainty, we hope this year of the rabbit will make a positive change.

“Chinese New Year is about creating the perfect beautiful celebration and we believe that when our hearts are filled with love, good things will come our way,” she said.

The 2023 brand film portrays the spirit of togetherness while looking good, and feeling great whilst creating an atmosphere of fun, excitement, and extravagance.

It reveals the true meaning of the perfect #HappyBeautifulYear celebration, featuring star-studded casts of Malaysian celebrities, including Watsons’ ambassador Phei Yong and Watsons Celebrity Friends such as Amber Chia, Han Xiiao Aii, Jordan Voon, Kwok Yan Yan and Perry Kuan.

Hong Kong renowned star Kevin Cheng Ka-Win also attended the event as a surprise guest, much to the delight of the crowd during the national launch of Watsons #HappyBeautifulYear.

“To kickstart the New Year, Watsons has always been at the forefront of giving back to the community and visited over 22 homes and orphanages to share the joy with them with CNY goodies bags that include essential, supplements, personal care products and food supplies with the hope of putting a smile on everyone’s face while celebrating this festivity.

Hoh said apart from the main prizes, Watsons members will receive free angpow packets with a minimum of RM88 spent while Elite members stand a chance to get Free Limited-Edition Cup Warmer with a minimum of RM288 spent when purchasing at the store while stocks last.
