KUCHING: TEGAS Digital Village and Digital Innovation Hub is organising a free webinar entitled Farming for the Future on Sept 17.
The webinar which is part of TEGAS’s Innovate Sarawak Speaker Series will be conducted by Lavindar Singh Jay.
The speaker will be sharing on smart farming technology and how to make the most out of agricultural resources.
“Lavindar is passionate about technology and innovation. Having vast experience in the field of research and engineering, he aims to better the world through technology by implementing breaking edge technology into the lives of fellow Sarawakians.
“He is currently with Satok Bridge Area Consulting Engineering, and he spearheads the drive for more efficient farming in the age of the fourth industrial revolution (IR4.0) as the head of digitalisation.
“With the combination of Internet of Things (IoT), smart sensors, automation, and of course local-know how, he is able to make smart farming a reality in Sarawak,” it said in a social media post today.
TEGAS stated that the webinar will take place from 10:30am to 11:30am on its Facebook page.
The Innovate Sarawak Speaker Series is a platform to bring together industry and subject matter experts in producing curated conservations around digital innovation and entrepreneurship.
