KUCHING: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Kampung Paya Mebi Social and Welfare Bureau donated wheelchairs to the disabled and the elderly during the Aidiladha celebration

“A total of five wheelchairs were donated. This is an activity that we do from time to time to help those in need,” chairman Shamsudin Unai said at the Aidiladha programme officiated by Batu Kitang assemblyman Lo Khere Chiang.

The event on Tuesday (July 12) was also attended by Senator Datuk Ahmad Ibrahim, who is also Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) deputy chairman.

Shamsudin explained that four of the wheelchairs were donated by Kampung Paya Mebi PBB Social and Welfare Bureau while another was donated by Lo, who is also MPP chairman.

“Two of the wheelchair recipients are from Kampung Paya Mebi, one from Kampung Landeh, one from Kampung Haji Baki.

“Another wheelchair was donated to Masjid Al-Muhajirin, Kampung Paya Mebi.”
