Christmas is just around the corner, and The Spring shopping mall in Kuching has been filled with Christmas spirit for the past few weeks.

The bright colours and decor throughout the mall brighten the atmosphere, preparing shoppers for the upcoming holiday.

Many shoppers of all ages visit the mall to enjoy the holiday vibe, especially the Christmas Market — a Spring special event.

People are filled with joy and excitement as they come to buy Christmas snacks and gifts for their loved ones.

The booth is decorated like a gingerbread house, giving those who enter the market the impression that they are entering Santa Claus’ workshop.

Many shoppers are drawn to the Christmas trees and lights and take photos with them.

Families, friends, and couples were all excited to walk around the market and have a good time.

The Spring’s Christmas Market is located at the South Court, where patrons can browse and buy holiday gifts from Kuching’s outstanding and up-and-coming artisan sellers.

It has a wide selection of delectable treats to fill your feasting tables and satisfy your tummies.

Not only that, it also offers a wide range of gifts for shoppers to purchase for their loved ones, ranging from accessories to gift boxes and flowers.

Tracy Yong, 37, the founder of Vala and a booth owner, spoke about her product.

” We’re creating a one-stop gift station, Vala. We mainly sell candles, but for this holiday season, we’re collaborating with various brands, including Pro Outdoor. We aim to set up a gift station for not only male customers looking for Christmas gifts for their female companion, but also for female customers who want to buy gifts for their partner.”

The other local entrepreneur’s stall is from Dré Atelier, where they promote and sell their proudly homegrown decadent treats, customised for the local palate with Sarawak’s very own cocoa powder.

Their chocolate comes in a variety of flavours, each of which can appeal to a specific demographic.

Milton Pang, 23, one of the booth’s employees, talked about the chocolates they sell.

” We have five chocolate flavours: matcha, classic, dark chocolate, coffee, and blueberry,” he said.

He added that, ” Older people prefer dark chocolate because they do not like sweet things; young people, such as children, who like sweet things, prefer blueberry and the classic.”

Their stall has been well received, particularly at their booth near the entrance, where the majority of visitors will pass by.

Apart from the two previously mentioned stalls, there are several others that are popular.

Matcha Day, a stall that collaborated with De’Castilla, offers a variety of cookies and Matcha drinks that quickly drew the attention of Matcha lovers.

Top Toys also attracts a large number of teenagers who enjoy anime, Avengers, and Bearbrick.

The stalls, which will be open until December 25th, play an important role in bringing the Christmas spirit to our local shopping mall.

So, if you haven’t decided what to get your loved ones and friends for Christmas, what are you waiting for?
