Wishesland Miri to begin operations mid-November

MIRI: Renovation works on Wishesland Miri operations centre in Piasau Camp here is expected to complete in mid-November this year.

Wishesland Miri, in a statement yesterday (Sept 29), said that to date, it has completed maintenance and cleaning works on the centre’s compound.

“If maintenance works are carried out as per scheduled, Wishesland Miri will start its operations by middle of November 2021,” it said in the statement.

Wishesland Miri committee members expressed their gratitude to the public for their generous donations and support towards their fund-raising activity to help finance the project.

The non-governmental organisation (NGO) has successfully raised RM20,000 to help fund the project. It hopes to achieve its target of RM250,000.

Wishesland Miri said, that they will continue the fundraising activities in order to raise money for purchasing equipment and supporting their daily operations cost.

Meanwhile, Wishesland Miri invites women below 30 years old, who possess a degree or diploma in physiotherapy, to fill the post of physiotherapist at the centre.

It is also looking for a small family to stay in the centre as housekeeper cum gardener.
