KUCHING: Members of Ahli Persatuan Amal Isteri-Isteri Wakil Rakyat Negeri Pahang (TERATAI) paid a courtesy call to the state’s Association of Ministers’ Wives and Wives of  Assistant Ministers (SABATI) here yesterday.

The visit with Persatuan Suri Dan Anggota Wanita Perkhidmatan Awam Malaysia (PUSPANITA) Pahang Branch was led by TERATAI president Datin Seri Datuk Burhah Mohammed.

She said the visit was to reciprocate an earlier one by SABATI members who went to Pahang to conduct research at the Pahang Weaving Centre in September 2019.

“It is hoped that on our return visit, members of TERATAI will be able to learn about the uniqueness found in Sarawak,” she said.

“I hope that with our presence, the relationship between TERATAI, PUSPANITA Pahang Branch and SABATI will remain strong,” she said.

She also expressed admiration for the tolerance that exists among the different communities here.

“My entourage and I would also like to say thank you for the excellent hospitality during our four day visit to Sarawak,” she said.

Meanwhile, SABATI second vice president Datuk Dayang Morliah Datuk Awang Daud said the visit could further strengthen the bond between SABATI and TERATAI.

“On behalf of SABATI and especially the president of SABATI, Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang, I hope that Datin Sri Datuk Burhah and the entourage will bring back a thousand sweet memories,” she said.
