KOTA SAMARAHAN: A woman narrowly escaped a fiery fate when her car suddenly caught ablaze in Kampung Tambey last night (Mar 17)
The 23-year-old driver managed to get out to safety just in the nick of time around 8.45 pm, averting potential tragedy.
Firefighters from Kota Samarahan station were promptly dispatched to the scene following an emergency call.
Upon arrival, the team found the charred remnants of a Perodua Kancil still engulfed in flames.
The fire was brought under control with water sourced from the fire truck.
Subsequent overhaul works were carried out to eliminate any lingering risks of reignition.
Once the situation was deemed safe, the team ended the operation. The cause of the fire and losses incurred are still under investigation.
