KUCHING: A woman was found hanged at her residence in Kampung Bintawa Tengah last Friday (Oct 2).
District police chief ACP Awang Din Awang Gani when contacted, confirmed that a report on such incident was received from the public at 5.15pm.
He told that a police team was deployed to the scene to investigate the incident.
“Upon arrival, the team found the victim lifeless and hanged.
“The 27-year-old victim was pronounced dead by Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) paramedics at the scene and was later taken to the hospital for post mortem,” he said.
Awang Din told that police are currently investigating the case which is being classified as sudden death.
