MIRI: A woman in her late 20s was waiting at a bus stop in Pelita Commerical Centre here around 5.30pm on Wednesday when a stranger suddenly appeared and snatched her handphone worth RM1,000.
She has lodged a police report on the incident at Miri central police station.
According to sources, the suspect fled from the scene on foot.
