KUCHING: Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) president Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh has denied speculations that a Malay elected representative or minister had shown interest to join the party.

When contacted yesterday, Wong said he had no knowledge on the matter. He refused to comment on the speculation.

The person is said to be meeting PSB within the next week.

Meanwhile, PSB youth chief Johnical Rayong said he too didn’t know about it.

“Sorry, I cannot comment. This is news to me,” Rayong added.
New Sarawak Tribune made several attempts to get PSB member Datuk Joseph Entulu for comments but to no avail.

PSB is a splinter party of Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) following internal crisis in the party.

On July 15, Wong said the party was outside GPS, and a free and independent party.

“Our aim and mission are the same with Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS), that is to work for Sarawak and its people,” he was reported saying.
