KUCHING: A construction worker sustained injuries on both legs and his back after a cement wall fell on him.
The worker, aged 22, was dismantling the walls of an old school quarters at SK Pajar, Sejingkat when the whole wall gave way and fell on him at about 10.45 am yesterday.
He was pinned there and colleagues rushed to help him take away the fragments of the structure from his body.
Fire and Rescue Services Department (JBPM) were called to the scene and he was rushed to the Sarawak General Hospital for treatment. The victim was warded for further treatment.
