KUCHING: A man was pronounced dead after he was found unconscious at a reflexology centre at Jalan Padungan here today.
According to reliable sources, the 52-year-old man from Selangor entered the premises at around 11am.
He sat on the sofa and later dozed off.
Moments later, when the workers tried to wake him up, he was already unresponsive.
The workers contacted the hospital for assistance.
“Paramedics, who arrived at the scene, gave him first aid before rushing him to the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for further treatment.
However, efforts to revive the man through cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) proved futile. The man was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
A police report has been lodged regarding the incident and police are still investigating the case.
