KUCHING: The Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud yesterday received a courtesy call from World War 2 (WW2) veteran, Commando Jack Tredrea and entourage at Astana Negeri here.

Jack Tredrea was among the members of the first parachute commando who landed in Bario, Sarawak during the WW2. 

Also present during the visit were Heritage Development Committee chairman, Sarawak Tourism Federation (STF) Dato Lim Kian Hock and Honorary Secretary General of STF Audrey Wan Ullok.
