BAU: More than 2,000 music fans enjoyed a lively night as Malaysia’s legendary rock band, XPDC, took to the stage, performing their unforgettable rock classics.
The Redeems XPDC Live Concert 2023, held at the Bidayuh Cultural Village (BCV) in Redeems Centre here on Saturday night, brought fans back to the glory days of the band during the 1990s.
The event kicked off with a performance by Time Attack, the winners of Battle Of The Band 2023, followed by the Senseless band.
At 9.05 pm, the moment everyone was waiting for came – XPDC appeared on stage and gave fans a warm and heart-touching music experience.
The band members, Ali, Lola, Izo, Eddie, and Arif Izo, lit up the night with their well-loved hits, including “Hentian Ini,” “Titian Perjalanan,” “Hijau Bumi Tuhan,” “Apa Nak Dikata,” “Sakinah,” and “Semangat Yang Hilang.”
After an energetic performance that lasted nearly two hours, the concert concluded with the band’s final song of the night, “Selendang Merdeka.”
The live concert followed the conclusion of Battle Of The Band 2023, which took place from August 23 to 25.
The organisers announced that it would become an annual event at the BCV.
