KOTA SAMARAHAN: Yayasan Dakwah Islamiah Malaysia (Yadim) continues to be committed to providing assistance to the communities affected by floods, including at the temporary relief centre (PPS) here.

A statement on Sunday (Feb 21) said Yadim Sarawak together with their volunteers have doled out assistances to flood victims at PPS Dewan Lenggai Kampung Entingan and PPS Kampung Nangka Samarahan on Saturday (Feb 20).

During their visit to PPS Dewan Lenggai Kampung Entingan, they presented donations in the form of dry goods and personal hygiene kits to 44 victims from nineteen families.

Later in the day, they visited PPS Kampung Nangka to assist 20 flood victims from ten families.

Also present during the visit to the Kampung Nangka PPS was Muara Tuang assemblyman Datuk Idris Buang who was monitoring the situation of the flood victims at the centre.
