KUCHING: Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Kuching chairperson Datuk Lily Yong will hold a meeting with eateries’ owners via Zoom today.
The 2.30pm session aims to hear and find the best solution to the problems faced by eateries here since the Covid-19 pandemic struck.
“Although the government has subsidised and made necessary adjustments throughout the pandemic, it will not be practical for the people to depend solely on the government to survive for the long term.
“Considering the constant changes and development of the Covid-19 virus and the current worldwide situation, this problem may take years before we are able to eradicate it completely.
“Therefore, today my team and I will spend our time to listen, help and render our assistance to those in need,” Yong said.
