MIRI: A 22-year-old youth died on the spot after the motorcycle he was riding veered off the road and crashed.
The 10am accident occurred in Jalan Senadin here yesterday.
Sarawak Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu said the deceased had been identified as Patrick Ngau Simon.
“Patrick’s motorcycle suddenly veered off and crashed on the roadside,” he said. The victim died due to his injuries.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
