BAU: A motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries after he was involved in a head-on collision with a four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle at KM24, Jalan Bau-Stass on Saturday. District police chief DSP Poge Nyaon said Jerryco Dinno So-Uh, 18, from Kampung Stass, died on the way to Bau Hospital at around 4.30pm.
“Jerryco was heading towards Kampung Stass from Kampung Skibang when the accident occurred,” Poge said.
The 29-year-old driver of the 4WD vehicle was unharmed in the incident. The case is being investigated under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. Poge urged eyewitnesses to the accident to contact investigating officer Insp Rahiman at 013-9892382.
