BAU: A 22-year-old man was arrested at Kampung Tabong here on May 17 after admitting to taking drugs.
According to district police chief Poge Nyaon, police were inspecting a house in the village at around 1.50pm when the suspect tried to escape.
“The suspect eventually was stopped by the team and admitted that he was taking drugs.
“A urine test was conducted and he tested positive for drugs,” he stated, adding that the case is being investigated under Section 15(1) of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952.
