Zero cases in Sarawak

KUCHING: The state recorded zero new Covid-19 cases today, with the total number of cases remaining at 713.

Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a press statement also informed there are no new recovery and discharged cases, with the total number remaining at 682 or 95.65 percent.

The number of cases receiving treatment and in isolation remains at 12, namely six in Sarawak General Hospital (SGH), five in Miri Hospital and one in Bintulu Hospital.

The death toll also remained at 19 people or 2.66 percent.

SDMC also noted that two districts, mainly Kuching and Lawas are still yellow zones,

Ninety-two persons-under-surveillance (PUS) have registered in 12 hotels in the state to undergo the mandatory 14-day quarantine, bringing the total number of PUS to 904.
