The 21st Asia Masters Athletics Championship (AMAC) will be held here in Kuching, Sarawak from 2 to 6 December 2019.

Kuching City succeeded in winning the bidding to be the host of AMAC in Rugao City, China during the 20th AMAC in September 2017. This championship is expected to attract more than 3,000 athletes from 45 countries including 30 Asian countries and 15 countries from outside Asia. Apart from that, the championship is only participated by athletes who are aged 35 years and above with their vast experience in many major tournaments in the previous years.
