LAWAS: A total of nearly RM200,000 worth of various food processing equipment, farming tools and machines were delivered to 34 beneficiaries of 1 AZAM / AZAM NIAGA and service yesterday.
Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Malaysia (KPDNKK), Dato Henry Sum Agong officiated at the event held at the Lawas Parliamentary Service Centre Office, here.
According to him, this assistance is among the government’s initiatives to help those who are listed in the e-Kasih to improve their lives through generating economic activities that can lighten the family burden.
Therefore, he would like to thank the Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Datuk Seri Hajah Rohani Abdul Karim.
He wants to the recipients to be grateful and to continue
working together with the government in changing their lives for the better.
“The government is always trying to help people through subsidies, the BR1M aid, medical assistance, education and much more to ensure that people continue to be taken care of.
We need to think more rationally in assessing various information disseminated through the social media which are trying to deny all state aid or benefit to the people, “he added.
Touching on the rising cost of living, Henry Sum expects people to persevere and try to get various forms of assistance to enable them to improve their economy provided by various government departments and agencies.
People have to work hard instead of just waiting for government aid to reach them and they should not depend on all channels of help from various government ministries to change their lives for the better.
