KUCHING: The selection session to form the Youth Cup football squad ended last Sunday.
Thirty five top players have been selected for the team to face the challenge of the new season. Chief coach Mohamad Safri Amit said the group passed with flying colours in the last selection trials.
“We have got 35 players for the Youth Cup for this season,” said Safri, adding that six of last season’s squad are still in the team.
He voiced his confidence in the new players despite their lack of experience.
The Youth Cup campaign will open end of February, giving the coach ample time to form a formidable squad.
