Sibu district police chief ACP Stanley Jonathan Ringgit said that the activity was ongoing when an officer and 35 personnel from the 10th Battalion General Operation Force conducted a surprise raid at the place at 5.15pm.

Also seized from the suspects were RM6,974 in cash, 82 cockfighting spurs, seven live cocks, a weighing machine, a calculator, 820 round chips, a machete, a bell, two ‘holo’ (dice-based gambling game) gambling sets and a wall clock.
