KUCHING: A total of 480 packs of sacrificial meats were given to the residents in Jalan Patingan here today (June 1).
A committee member of the sacrificial ceremony said that out of the 480 packs of sacrificial meats, 80 will be given to needy groups, while the rest will be given to residents in the area.
These meats came from Surau Darul Qarar where eight cows were sacrificed on the third day of Hari Raya Aidiladha.
Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki arrived at the surau at 12 pm. He helped cut the meat into pieces and distributed it to the residents who came to the surau.
