KUCHING: A total 60 participants from all over the State attended the Level One Course held at the Pandelela Rinong Aquatic Centre from April 22 to 26.
The Sarawak Sports Corporation, Sarawak State Sports Council and National Academy of Malaysia under the Institut Sukan Negara (ISN) organised the National Sports Science (SPKK) course
According to Fredy Affendi who is the ISN coordinator, the course was held to develop and combine the knowledge of sports and exercise to equip coaches, PE educators, trainers and sports officials to help athletes perform at their highest level.
During the course, the ISN- appointed instructors shared their knowledge of sports science, skills and expertise in all aspects of sports performance.
Among the instructors were Dr Chin Ngien Siong, Dr Pathmanathan a/l Suppiah, Gordon Nicolaus Jemat Anchang, Dana Raja Narayanasamy and Stephanie Chok.
The SSC coordinators were Adilaila Samshuddin and Jubali Suhaili.
