MIRI: At the wee hours this morning, a 67 year-old man was awaken by his pet dog who was barking at the front porch next to his orchard in Jalan Acorus Taman Delight Lorong Sakura 1A/1.

He immediately rang the Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) for help.

“The team managed to capture the python weighing around 10kg within 15 minutes using a special tool,” he said.

It was then released into the wild.
