Abang Johari and wife extend Raya visit to Ibrahim Baki’s open house

KUCHING: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg and his wife Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang continued their Hari Raya Aidilfitri visit by attending Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki’s open house at Hikmah Exchange Event Centre today (Apr 11).

The open house, which commenced at 10am, welcomed approximately 3000 visitors from diverse backgrounds, including rural communities.

Ibrahim pointed out the convenience of hosting the event at the centre due to its strategic location and ample parking spaces.

“This centre is among the iconic buildings in Kuching and situated at a strategic location.

Visitors enjoying the local delicacies at the Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house.

“It’s easier for the people to find the location and there are lots of parking spaces for the visitors to park their cars. It is very convenient for them,” he said.

He said this when met by reporters at his Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house.

Earlier in the day, distinguished guests at Ibrahim’s open house included Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof and his wife Datin Seri Ruziah Mohd Tahir, Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas and wife Datuk Doreen Mayang, Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian and wife Datin Amar Enn Ong Siok Ean, Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi and his wife Datin Seri Angelina Ujang, along with other Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) party members.

Notably, opposition representatives such as Stampin MP Chong Chieng Jen and Pending assemblywoman Violet Yong were also in attendance.
