ACCCIS delegation visits Head of State and Premier for Hari Raya celebration

KUCHING: The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sarawak (ACCCIS) led a delegation of committee members and representatives to visit the Head of State and Premier’s Hari Raya Aidilfitri open houses on the first day of the celebration today.

The delegation, led by its president Datuk Tan Jit Kee, visited Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg and his wife, Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) in the afternoon.

On the same day, the ACCCIS delegation also visited Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Raghad Kurdi Taib at the Astana Negeri Sarawak.

Among those present were ACCCIS deputy president Kong Chiong Ung, vice presidents Datuk Wee Kok Hui and Datuk Dr Ngu Piew Seng, secretary-general Datuk Jonathan Chai, deputy secretary-general Yek Hock Siang, treasurer Yek Nae Shiuan, deputy treasurer Ho Siew Hua, chairman of the Digital Economy Committee Rodger Chan, and representatives from Kuching Chinese General Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCGCCI), Simanggang Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Bintulu Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Serian Chinese Chamber of Commerce.
