BINTULU: It is the responsibility of everyone to stop the spread of Covid-19.

This was asserted by State Information Department deputy director Aziz Abdul Rahman.

“We all are in this together, and we all need to practise social distancing and that includes not only children, but the whole community,” he said at the launch of ‘Sepakat @ Komuniti’ programme to break Covid-19 at Rumah Chin Gawing at Jalan Sebauh Bintulu on Saturday (Nov 14).

Aziz also reminded the people here to continue complying with the standard operating procedures (SOPs) imposed by the government meant to safeguard their safety.

The programme was organised by Bintulu District Information Department (JaPen) to raise public awareness of the importance for them to work together with the government agencies especially healthcare workers and law enforcement officers to curb the spread of Covid-19.

The programme was aimed at ensuring the public in order to continue complying with the existing standard operating procedures (SOPs) such as wearing face masks when going outdoor, practise physical distancing and regularly cleaning hands by washing with soap and water plus using hand sanitisers.
