KUCHING: The Dragon School Alumni Association, College Tunku Abdul Razak and SMK Tun Abdul Razak Alumni Association will hold an Alumni Charity Dinner on Nov 25 at the Christian Ecumenical Worship Centre (ACS) here.
“The main objective is to gather all the former students of Dragon School, TAR College and SMK Tun Abdul Razak to strengthen friendships and reminisce old memories from the 1970s to the present,” said Marilyn Mistui, President of the Dragonian Alumni, in a statement.
“In addition, the organisation of this event also aims to raise funds for the development of school facilities such as the renovation of classrooms for the comfort of students and the construction of a car parking area,” she said.
The funds collected by the association will also be allocated to supporting financially challenged students at SMK Tun Abdul Razak.
Earlier, Mitsui and members of the organising committee paid a visit to Puncak Borneo MP Datuk Willie Mongin to extend an invitation for him to be the guest of honour at the event.
