Bintulu Port wins award at global Annual Report

BINTULU: Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad (BPHB) has won yet another award, this time at the 35th International Annual Report Competition (ARC Awards) in New York.

BPHB clinched the silver award in the Port Management sub-category under the PDF Version of Annual Report category at a ceremony, recently.

With this award, BPHB has now won a total of three international awards since starting its Integrated Reporting Journey in 2019. 

The first was a silver award for the Best Integrated Annual Report 2019 at the 34th International Annual Report Competition (ARC Awards) in New York. BPHB won the silver under the Traditional Annual Report category.

The second was a bronze award won as Asia’s Best Integrated Report 2020, held virtually in Singapore.

A statement from the company today said BPHB is committed to ensuring all reports published by the company provides value for its stakeholders and investors, helping them through a more holistic process of making informed decisions.

“With this latest award, BPHB is very much encouraged that its integrated reporting journey is on the right track and gaining strong traction in line with its vision to be a world-class port operator,” it said.

BPHB is an investment holding company. Its subsidiaries, Bintulu Port Sdn Bhd and Samalaju Industrial Port Sdn Bhd, are engaged in port services which include marine services (towage, pilotage, and mooring), cargo handling and storage, stevedoring, supply base services and bunkering while its other subsidiary, Biport Bulkers Sdn Bhd, specialises in bulking installation services.
