KUCHING: The University Startup Challenge (USC) returns this year for another round of agile search for the next group of young innovators.

The Malaysian Global Innovation and Creativity Centre (MaGIC) virtually launched the USC 2021 in Cyberjaya recently.

This year’s challenge will be competed under new themes, development sessions and competition elements.

MaGIC said the challenge since its introduction in 2019 had impacted no fewer than 300 varsity students.

This year’s top 10 winners will receive cash prizes up to RM10,000 and free three months hot-desking at MaGIC Co-working Space.

The winners will also walk home with, among others, free online startup tools and access to advanced programmes.
