KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim wished the Malaysian national football team all the best ahead of their 2023 Asian Cup Group E opening match against Jordan in Doha, Qatar early Tuesday (Jan 16) morning.

He said that the Harimau Malaya squad would begin an important mission, bearing the hopes of the entire country with them.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi also posted on Facebook, urging Malaysians to watch the match and show their support for the Harimau Malaya squad.
