Kuching: Various exciting activities and programmes will be held in conjunction with the Sarawak State Library’s Sarawakiana Carnival 2017 that will be held from 4-6 August, 2017.
The Sarawak State Library would like to invite members of the public to participate in the “Permainan Mensia Marek” programme on Sunday, 6 August, 2017 from 9am to noon (Session 1) and 2pm to 5pm (Session 2 ) which will take place at the Main Entrance of the building.
Not many of us today know about the traditional
games we used to play when we were kids.
Now, most games use technology to download online games such as smartphones and computers. We also tend to play PlayStation 4, Wii games and more until we’ve forgotten what are the old age games is all about.
Hence, to know more about these games, members of the public are welcome to participate in the “Permainan Mensia Marek” programme. Among the exciting games that will be held are Congkak, Batu Seremban, Rondes, Palak Arrow (tudung lemenet), Zero Point, Kaki Tiga, Peletop and Main Gudi.
