Bernama editor Adnan Jahaya dies

KANGAR: Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) editor, Adnan Jahaya, died at the Tuanku Fauziah (HTF) Hospital in Kangar, Perlis. He was 58.

He was believed to have fallen unconscious at his home in Bukit Kayangan Park, Kangar, Saturday morning, before being taken to the HTF in an ambulance.

He is survived by his wife, Hasnah Hashim, and two sons, Ahmad Helmi and Abdul Razak.

Hasnah, 56, said Adnan, who was a diabetic, had suffered a heart attack.

His remains were be taken to his sister’s house in Taman Masmuda, Jalan Bintong, here, for prayers before being buried at the Kampung Belanga Pudak Muslim cemetery after Asar, yesterday. – Bernama
