KUCHING: 67 blood donors from different ethnic backgrounds and ages recently turned up for the blood donation campaign organised by Lui Chiu Youth of Lui Chiu Association Sarawak and the management of Plaza Merdeka here.
According to the Youth Chief of Lui Chiu Association, there were 59 successful donors, mostly Bumiputeras.
The blood bank of the Sarawak General Hospital assisted in the campaign which aimed to ensure adequate supply of fresh blood for emergency use.
