KUCHING: A blood donation drive will be held this Sunday (Sept 24) from 9am to 2pm at Batu Kawa E-Mart here.
It is being organised by the youth section of the Kuching and Samarahan Pan Chern Liew Clan Association, in collaboration with Ghee Hua Co, the Federation of Kuching and Samarahan Divisions Chinese Associations youth section with the support of SGH Blood Bank and the Malaysian Red Crescent Society Kuching District.
“This initiative is in response to the urgent call by Sarawak General Hospital for increased blood supply at its blood bank,” it said in a statement yesterday.
“Additionally it aims to raise awareness within the community about the vital act of saving lives through blood donation.”
