KUCHING: The body of a fisherman who was reported missing after falling into the Sarawak River last Tuesday was found yesterday morning.
The body of Mazali Mumin, 37, from Kampung Tabuan Melayu, was found floating in the river near a jetty in Bako by several villagers at around 8.00am.
A team of firefighters were dispatched to the location to retrieve the body after they were informed by the villagers.
The victim’s body was later taken to the Sarawak General Hospital for a post mortem.
