KUCHING: Big Grain Group, a renowned financial capital investment company based here recently teamed up with Hope Place for a special Chinese New Year (CNY) corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme.

Named “Door-to-Door CNY Food Aid Donation”, the initiative was to provide essential support and bring cheer to 11 families facing challenges within communities in the city.

“As part of its commitment to extending assistance beyond financial services, Big Grain Group made a significant contribution to Hope Place to purchase essential food items and daily necessities for families in need.

“The collaboration underscored the companies’ shared commitment to making a positive impact on the local community,” Big Grain Group said in a press release.

The company then said the 11 beneficiary families represented a diverse range of races and backgrounds, including low-income families, a physically disabled single mother, elderly individuals with physical disabilities, and a stroke patient.

“The joint efforts of Big Grain Group and Hope Place aimed not only to provide immediate material support but also to raise awareness about the importance of community care.
