TATAU: A report about a burning car was received yesterday at 13:17:00 hours. It said the incident occurred at the Semamuk junction in Tatau.
The Tatau Fire and Rescue Services Department (BBP Tatau) immediately despatched six personnel in one vehicle to the scene. They were led by PB Rowlin Asong.
Upon reaching at the scene, Operation Commander PPgB Nazari bin Harun and group found out a 4WD vehicle was already 100 per cent burnt by the roadside on its way from Bintulu to Tatau. BBP Tatau managed to extinguish the fire completely by 14:25:00 hours.
No fatality was reported in the incident, according to information received from
Pusat Gerakan Operasi Bomba Sarawak yesterday.
