SONG: The Fire and Rescue Department here made a surprising discovery today (July 3) when they found a car overturned in a ditch, but the driver was nowhere to be seen.
According to a spokesman, the firemen from Song station received a distress call at around 3.15 am about an accident on Jalan Sebatu, which was about 19 kilometres away from their station.
Upon arrival, the team confirmed that the accident involved a white Toyota Vios that had flipped over and landed in the ditch.
However, they found no signs of any victims in or around the car. As a result, no rescue operation was performed at the scene.
To ensure the overall safety of the area, the team carried out monitoring work.
They concluded their operation at 3:40 am and returned to their station.
