SIBU: A woman cheated death after the car she was in turned turtle in Jalan Oya Lama here.
The accident happened near SK Ulu Sungai Merah at around 8.10am, this morning (Feb 10).
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Zone 4 chief Janggan Muling said when firefighters from the Sungai Merah station arrived at the scene, they found a green Proton Iriz hatchback with the driver inside.
“The driver, aged 28, sustained minor injuries.
“Firefighters extricated her from the car and handed her over to paramedics. She was then taken to the hospital for further treatment,” added Janggan.
The operation ended at around 8.49am.
