KUCHING: The Centre of Technical Excellence Sarawak (Centexs) is offering a specialised training programme focusing on the field of Green Energy and Environmental Sustainability.

The programme, which commenced in August, aims to bolster Sarawak’s commitment to sustainability by blending economic advancement with environmental conservation.

Centexs Digital Academy and Green Energy faculty member Abang Mohd Arif Anaqi Abang Isa revealed that the two-month training programme has attracted 10 students with bachelor’s degrees in engineering.

“Upon completing the programme, participants will receive certificates from Centexs, Huawei and Solarvest, which is valuable for their future career prospects.”

Mohd Arif said this to the media during the 27th World Congress on Innovation and Technology and the 6th International Digital Economy Conference Sarawak (WCIT | IDECS 2023) at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching here on Wednesday (Oct 4).
