Church receives RM200,000 grant from Unifor

MIRI: Tudan Methodist Church yesterday (Oct 17) received a RM200,000 grant from the Unit for Other Religions (Unifor) for its extension and upgrading works.

The cheque was presented by Transport Minister Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin cum Senadin assemblyman.

Receiving the cheque on behalf of Tudan Methodist Church was its executive committee chairlady Winne Renang. Also present was Reverend Tan Chung Kiat.

Lee, in his brief remarks before the cheque presentation, explained that the main function of Unifor was to look after the welfare of all non-Muslim religions.
